Red-Breasted Nuthatch video

These are Red-Breasted Nuthatches I videotaped a few weeks ago at my parent's home in Lacey, about 60 miles south of Seattle. I hadn't realized how feisty they are, but they are not shy about scolding Black-Capped and Chestnut-Backed Chickadees (and each other) away from the bird seed. If you watch carefully, you can see how the male's cap is black, while the female's is blue-gray.
