My Squirrel-Proof Birdfeeder: The "Flexi-Perch"

For as long as I've been feeding birds, I've also been battling the squirrels who steal the birdseed and chew up the birdfeeders. I've been working for some time on a squirrel-proof feeder and have just published instructions for how to build my new, patent-pending, "Flexi-Perch" (tm) feeder for less than $10. If there's sufficient interest, I will sell them, too (for a lot more than $10). I'll soon be reconfiguring the birdcam to view the Flexi-Perch, but for now, here's a picture of it in use:
