Call of the Rufous-Sided Towhee

This Towhee is calling near the Seattle BirdCam. Not a very melodious call, and he can keep it up for what seems like hours!

Bill, This is NOT a Roufus Towhee. Interesting bird nonetheless, but not a Towhee.

Shoot first, verify facts later.

The above 'Googled' site verified that rufous-sided towhees have regional dialects. I didn't know that. The roufus sided towhees who visit here, central FL, have a 2 syllable call which sounds like their name, "Tow hee! Tow hee!"

Nevermind
